Start of a blogpost about the Net Evolution: Netolution

The net is one of the things that change the world rapidly. Ten years ago it was "WOW!" to use and provide WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) services. Nowadays, having internet wherever you are, almost is the standard. Just like a mobile phone, which by the way is also not too long around for normal people, about 14-15 years.

Nowadays it's not very strange to see a kid of about 6-7 years old with a working mobile phone. It's easier and provides a feeling of security for lots of parents/people. Imagine how the world will look like in ten years. I hope it won't be the world where kids that can hardly talk have a fully internet enabled device with them. So that parent can see where they are, communicate with them and even see them via a video-ish device.

No matter what we want or don't want, the evolution of the net keeps going and is part of normal life. Would people have thought during the early days of the phone that there would still be a normal life without the phone. Idem for the car, heating, tv, etc. Yes probably they would, but that was a "pessimistic" thought. We evolve and the world with us. Currently the internet seems to be the powerful motor for a large piece of our evolution.

That is part of what this blog is intended for. Small evolution steps around the web and also the bigger picture of the net versus life.

See ya!
